24/7 Emergency Plumbing — No Overtime Charges

Emergency Services

Plumbing emergencies don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Lone Star Flow dispatches licensed emergency plumbers across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including weekends and holidays — with no overtime charges. Whether it's a burst pipe at midnight, a gas leak on a Sunday morning, or a sewer backup during Thanksgiving dinner, our fully stocked trucks and experienced technicians are ready to respond fast and fix it right.

Our Emergency Services Capabilities

Burst Pipe Emergency

A burst pipe can flood your home in minutes, causing thousands of dollars in damage to floors, walls, and personal belongings. Our emergency plumbers respond immediately to shut off the water supply, repair or replace the damaged section of pipe, and begin water extraction. We carry the most common pipe sizes and fittings on our trucks so repairs can be completed in a single visit.

Sewer Line Backup

A sewer backup sends contaminated water into your home through floor drains, toilets, and tub drains. This is a health hazard that requires immediate professional attention. Our crew isolates the backup, clears the blockage using commercial augers or hydro-jetting, and runs a camera inspection to identify the cause — whether it's tree root intrusion, a collapsed pipe, or a grease buildup.

Gas Leak Response

If you smell gas or suspect a leak, leave the building immediately and call us from a safe location. Our licensed gas line technicians use electronic gas detectors to locate the leak, make the repair, and pressure-test the entire system before restoring service. All gas work is performed to Texas Railroad Commission standards and inspected before we leave.

Slab Leak Emergency

A slab leak can cause hot spots on your floor, unexplained spikes in your water bill, and the sound of running water when nothing is on. Left unaddressed, slab leaks can undermine your foundation. Our emergency team uses acoustic and electronic detection equipment to pinpoint the leak location, then offers same-day repair options including spot repair, rerouting, and epoxy pipe lining.

No Hot Water

Waking up to no hot water is more than an inconvenience — it can indicate a failed water heater, a tripped gas valve, or a broken heating element. Our technicians diagnose the issue on-site and carry replacement parts for the most common water heater brands. If the unit needs to be replaced, we can often install a new water heater the same day.

Overflowing Toilet

An overflowing toilet can quickly contaminate your bathroom floor and adjacent rooms with unsanitary water. Our plumbers respond fast to stop the overflow, clear the blockage, and sanitize the affected area. If the overflow was caused by a deeper issue in the drain line, we'll diagnose and repair that too.

Frozen Pipe Prevention & Repair

North Texas cold snaps can freeze exposed pipes in attics, garages, and exterior walls. Frozen pipes are at high risk of bursting as the ice expands. If you suspect frozen pipes, call us immediately — we can safely thaw the line and inspect for damage. We also offer pipe insulation services to protect your plumbing before the next freeze.

Water Heater Leak

A leaking water heater can release 40–80 gallons of water into your home if the tank fails completely. If you notice water pooling around your water heater, rust-colored water, or a hissing sound, call us right away. We'll shut down the unit safely, assess whether repair or replacement is needed, and handle the water cleanup if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really answer the phone 24/7?
Yes. Our dispatch line at (972) 555-0123 is staffed around the clock by a real person — not a voicemail or answering service. When you call at 3 AM with a burst pipe, a live dispatcher takes your information and sends the nearest available plumber to your location.
Is there an extra charge for nights, weekends, or holidays?
No. Lone Star Flow does not charge overtime rates for emergency service calls outside of regular business hours. The price you're quoted is the price you pay, regardless of when the call comes in.
How fast can you get to my home?
Our average response time across the DFW Metroplex is 60–90 minutes, depending on your location and current call volume. During severe weather events, response times may be longer due to high demand, but we prioritize calls based on severity — gas leaks and active flooding are always dispatched first.
What should I do while waiting for the plumber?
For burst pipes: locate your main water shutoff valve (usually near the water meter or where the main line enters your home) and turn it off. For gas leaks: leave the building immediately, do not flip any light switches or use electronics, and call us from outside. For sewer backups: avoid using any plumbing fixtures and keep children and pets away from contaminated areas.
Will you need to come back for a second visit?
In most cases, no. Our trucks carry the parts and equipment needed to complete the repair in a single visit. If the situation requires a part we don't have on the truck — which is rare — we'll make the area safe, provide a temporary fix if possible, and return the next business day to complete the permanent repair at no additional trip charge.
Can you help with the insurance claim?
Yes. We document every emergency call with photos, a written description of the damage and repairs performed, and itemized invoicing. This documentation is formatted to meet the requirements of most major insurance carriers. We can also communicate directly with your adjuster if needed.
